FPPJ: Sanctions against 536 Offices for Violating PPKM Mikro are the Right Step

This is enforced to save us from the potential transmission of Covid-19, which is currently still rampant

The Jakarta Care Youth Forum (FPPJ) is strongly supporting efforts to enforce rules for health protocols violators amid the micro-scale public activity restrictions (PPKM Mikro) from June 22 to July 5.

Jakarta FPPJ Head, Endriansah said that imposing sanctions on hundreds of offices that violated the Work From Office (WFO) provisions up to a maximum of 25 percent was the right and firm step.

"This is enforced to save us from the potential transmission of Covid-19, which is currently still rampant," he expressed, Thursday (7/1).

Based on the data, he explained, the office infection cluster was quite high. In fact, it was undeniable that office clusters might trigger increased transmission in family clusters.

"The temporary closure against 536 offices is expected to give valuable lessons for others to comply more with existing rules," he explained.

Therefore he warned employees not to hesitate to report any violations of the rules in the office. This is for the common good.

"Please report via JAKI application or bit.ly/covid19perusahaan," he asserted.

Despite the personnel were limited , he hoped, they could still optimize monitoring in the field.

"Besides community participation, this monitoring and enforcement is the key to the successful implementation of PPKM Mikro. That's we should appreciate our personnel in the field, hopefully they could give more," he stated.
